Infinity Amoris B litter was quite literally meant to be, If you’ll pardon the pun! Angel decided to synchronise her season with a very nice show that was approaching in early December and came into heat early. This show was Trofeo Vesuvio in the South of Italy and Florindo Coppo was announced as one of the judges. Well, we absolutely love Italy and we have bucket loads of respect for Coppo who shares our taste in the classical Italian dobermann. Naturally it began to occur to me and Mandy that this could be a fantastic opportunity to mate Angel with my most favourite males of today. The first time I set my eyes upon Nichel I was in Calliandro 2017, where he was in the line up for club winner. I was drawn by the depth and beauty of his expression which is hardly ever seen anymore in today’s breed, I was transfixed. Immediately I got in touch with his breeder and owner to see if he would be at Vesuvio. We all agreed that Angel in both type and bloodline would be an ideal match with Nichel, especially with the line breeding on Pathos delle querce nere. It was the weekend, and we’d been on the road so we couldn’t measure Angel’s precise progesterone level to estimate the perfect time for mating. So we just threw caution to the wind and took a chance.. if the wind was in our favour and the stars would have it.. And what a weekend it turned out to be; Coppo would sing her praises and make Zara club winner describing her head as a true example of the standard, Italians would come to photograph her, offer to buy her, and send compliments and kisses.. and.. Angel would become pregnant and two months later give birth to to 10 wonderful puppies .... Magic, just Magic!
